More Than a Game
FOUR DOWN™ was created around our family table—with one simple belief: the best moments happen when we make time for each other.
What started as a card game shared with us by family friends Karen and Gary, visiting from Sarasota, became the inspiration for FOUR DOWN™. I developed a unique theme, added new twists, refined the rules, and—with plenty of input and a careful eye from my stepdaughter along the way—created a beautifully designed table game to be played, shared, and passed around the table for years to come.
Around Our Table
FOUR DOWN™ quickly became our Monday night tradition.
Every Monday night, our 83-year-old dad and his four daughters put everything else aside and meet at our oldest sister’s house to play FOUR DOWN™.
One dad. Four daughters. A custom deck of cards. And the familiar request at the end of the night:
“Let’s play one more round.”
It’s a night our dad looks forward to every week—and one we’ve all come to treasure. What began around our family table became more than a game. It became time together.
